I am working as a Ph.D. candidate at the Cosy.Bio lab from April 2023 and be part of DrugSiderAI project. I earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from IAU and an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from AUT. During my master’s program, I gained experience in signal processing and machine learning (ML) methods for biomedical applications. After graduation, I conducted research on applying ML techniques to transcriptomic data, with the goal of advancing personalized medicine. Moreover, I focused on network-based approaches and gained experience working with graph convolutional neural networks to capture the complex relationships in biological data. My primary research interest lies at the crossroads of applying network-based ML to the field of medicine. I am excited to continue exploring this field and contributing to cutting-edge research as part of the Cosy.Bio team.
